# Polar integration: paying customers and cancellation reasons

> Connect Polar to Camelus: plan and revenue on every requester, MRR affected per theme, and cancellation reasons as feedback.

If you sell through [Polar](https://polar.sh), Camelus can know who pays you. Paying customers weigh more in theme scores, each theme shows the monthly revenue it touches, and cancellation reasons arrive as feedback.

## What it does

- **Plan and revenue on every requester** whose email matches a Polar customer.
- **MRR affected** on each theme: the monthly revenue of the distinct paying customers who asked. Without Polar, Camelus shows "—" rather than guessing.
- **Cancellation reasons as feedback:** when a customer cancels and says why, the reason lands in your Inbox and is grouped with everything else.
- **Alerts** for urgent feedback from paying customers, and when several customers cancel with a reason in a week.

Read-only: Camelus reads subscriptions and never writes to Polar. On Pro and Studio.

## Set it up

1. In Polar, create an organization token with the `subscriptions:read` scope.
2. In Camelus, open **Settings → Integrations** and paste it.
3. Optionally, add the webhook URL shown there to Polar, so changes arrive in seconds instead of daily.
