Email forwarding: feedback from your inbox
Last updated October 24, 2026
Every product has its own forwarding address. Send email to it, and each message becomes a feedback item in your Inbox.
Find your address
Open Settings → Products → your product → Email forwarding. The address looks like p_habits-x7k2q9mb@in.camelus.si. Copy it.
Forward your support inbox
Set up a forwarding rule in your mail provider. In Gmail: Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP → Add a forwarding address, then a filter that forwards the messages you want (for example everything sent to support@). Most providers have the same option.
You can also forward a single email by hand. Camelus recognizes forwarded messages (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, in several languages) and uses the original sender as the person, not you.
What's kept
- The sender's email and name become a person in People, so several emails from the same customer are counted once per theme.
- The subject becomes the item's title (without
Re:andFwd:). - The body becomes the feedback text, with quoted reply chains and signatures removed.
- Attachments aren't stored. Their names and sizes are kept as metadata.
Email senders count as unverified identities: a From address can be forged.
Replies
If people who email you expect to hear back, keep People who email expect to hear back on. Camelus can then tell them when what they asked for ships.
Limits
Each product accepts up to 200 emails a day. If you need a new address (for example because the old one leaks to spammers), click New address: the old one stops working right away.
